Godai
GODAI (五大) Japanese meaning for "the big five". My source of inspiration and the theme I have pursued for this exhibition.
Water - Air - Fire - Soil - Void
This exhibition is a tribute to the five vital elements that are present in us materially, emotionally and physical:
Water: represents fluidity, we are water and we flow with it. It reflects movement, adaptation and constant change associated with our emotions.
Air: expansion, freedom of movement. Breathing.
Fire: passion, light, and growth. Metabolism
Soil: solidity and our creation. Emotionally it means gravity and stability to our body.
Void or space: The spirit.
My works of art allude, reflect, connect everything that GODAI means; to create, feel and be. There is a connection between the natural elements mentioned and life itself.
"The big five," are present in our external and internal nature.
